Privacy Policy

We built Anarch to be simple to use and we try to collect only what we need to run it: to let you join the waitlist, create an account, and pay for a subscription. We are not a registered company at this time — Anarch is operated by an individual developer— and this policy is written in plain language rather than formal legal drafting, since we don't currently have outside legal counsel. We collect information in three main ways:

• Waitlist information. When you join our waitlist, we collect the email address you provide (and any other information the waitlist form asks for) so we can notify you about early access and product updates.
• Account information. When sign-up and login are available, account authentication is handled by Clerk, our identity provider. This includes your name, email address, and authentication metadata (e.g. login timestamps, device/browser information) needed to keep your account secure.
• Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or other raw payment credentials on our servers — Dodo Payments handles and stores that information directly. We do receive limited billing information from Dodo Payments, such as your subscription status, plan, billing email, and transaction history, so we can manage your account.
• Usage & content data. If you use the Service to generate videos, we process the inputs you provide (prompts, topics, uploaded assets) and store the outputs (scripts, generated images, voiceovers, and rendered videos) so you can access your generation history.
• Technical data. Like most web services, our hosting and analytics infrastructure automatically logs standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited.

We use the information above to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• Create and manage your account and authenticate logins;
• Process subscription payments, renewals, and manage billing through Dodo Payments;
• Generate the videos, scripts, and other content you request;
• Send you waitlist updates, product announcements, receipts, and important service notices;
• Monitor, debug, and improve the reliability of the Service;
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues; and
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data to train third-party advertising profiles.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in (set by Clerk) and may use lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use the site (e.g. page views, general traffic trends). We do not use invasive third-party ad-tracking cookies. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect your ability to stay logged in.

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers to run Anarch. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Clerk — authentication, account management, and (currently) waitlist collection.
• Dodo Payments — subscription billing and payment processing.
• Cloud infrastructure providers — hosting, storage, and rendering compute used to run the Service and store generated content.

We only share the minimum information these providers need to perform their function on our behalf, and we do not permit them to use your data for purposes unrelated to providing the Service.

Anarch is operated from India, but the Service is available to users worldwide, and our infrastructure and service providers (including Clerk and Dodo Payments) may process and store data on servers located outside your country, including in India, the United States, or other jurisdictions where our providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in these locations.

We retain account and billing information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations and to resolve disputes. Generated content is retained so you can access your history, until you delete it or close your account. You can request deletion of your data at any time using the contact details below.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights by emailing us — we'll do our best to respond and resolve requests promptly, though as a solo-operated project response times may vary. You can also unsubscribe from waitlist or marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and we rely on established providers (Clerk, Dodo Payments, and our hosting infrastructure) that maintain their own security standards for the data they handle. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Anarch is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Service evolves — for example, when new features or providers are added. We'll update the "Effective date" at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
